This is my first summer with my pond. I built in Sept of last year to overwinter my lillies. I bought about 10 goldfish from the pet store and they seem to be doing great. Yesterday I saw my first frog, sitting happily on a lily pad. I am happy to have him, but I wonder how he got in. My pond is more like a pool--18" above ground and 18" below, with out any slopes for frogs to climb. The walls are straight up brick with a limestone cap. The lilies are beautiful and I have more butterflies than ever.

The frog egg could have been on a plant, or it could have been super frog and climbed up the wall, they have good little suction pads.
