She said "besides goldfish", so why are people suggesting shubunkin and oranda goldfish?

There are many colorful minnows that are easy to grow. Rosy reds and white clouds are very easy to find in pet stores.

How big is your pond?

Lets see, what's in my pond ...... tilapia, kissing fish, some red minnows (a dozen are pregnant, so I guess I'll have to give a bunch away), they all live with goldfish and koi.

It seems we've had a few of these newbies lately, Young, female, no introduction, no location, and some very vague question. Bots?

I like the look of the Sarassa, but prefer the price of the Oranda. Of course, we get a little more brutal a winter than you do.......
