Hi all I live in RI I have had a pond for almost 20 years. About 9x10x4deep. I am currently refreshing it since all my Koi died a couple years ago and now that I am 20 years older looking to make maintenance easier for myself. So looking for advice recommendations on the newer technologies in ponding.

welcome and easier means pondless or with fish that do not breed ,which does not happen .I wish now i had gone pondless .So much easier and at least it would be a selling point if i ever sell my house .I moved from NJ to VA in 2004 and for some reason I wanted a pond ,now I wish I did not have one

Build a bog, pea gravel full of plants use that as your filter. I do almost nothing to my pond all summer, except pull excess plant growth.
