Hi Everyone!

We bought an old house (1910) about 6 years ago, and I recently discovered a cement pond that was hiding! Now I just need to know what to do with it!

Hello and welcome! How exciting for you! Please post some pictures.

I guess the first thing you’re going to have to do is excavate it, find out its dimensions, and determine if it still holds water.

By “excavate,” I mean dig out all the crud, assuming it’s been neglected.

Is it near a power source and/or is there evidence of things like a pump or filter?

Welcome Tim, what an exciting find.
I saw your pics on the other post, if it gets wet, are we planning to regrade the area or have a slightly above ground pond to avoid wash outs?
