Hello from south Louisiana

Hi, I'm Gary. My wife, Pauline and I live in a quiet neighborhood outside of Thibodaux, La. We are in zone 9. We've been having a pond for about 25 years, but recently we expanded to several fairly large ponds. We have two ponds inside a greenhouse/ screened enclosure. The 16'x10'x3'deep waterlily and goldfish pond is connected to a 10'x9'x2.5'deep Koi pond by way of a semicircular stream. Outside we have a 20'x16'x2'deep, and a 20'x20'x2' deep waterlilypond set in a wooden deck and 4'x8'x1' deep waterlily pond. We also have a few smaller container ponds with Lotus plants. My main interest now is hybridizing tropical waterlilies. I have several new hybrids that will bloom soon. Here are a few pics of the ponds.

Oh gosh I hope you are all ok there and no damage to anything.

No damage, but a lot of rain. About 15" so far since Friday. Still raining now.

I just dropped our pond level, we do have an overflow but that storm is headed this way. Rain for the next week predicted.
