I have to order a liner. Probably going with a 30 mil. Unless people recommend different.
It was just dugged out on Thursday

I think RPE is a good liner material. I don’t think I would purchase it from American Tilapia again.

Welcome, nice start on the hole, what type of filtration are you going to use? I would plan on using a bog/wetland filter( a lot of us on here use them), are pretty much the most efficient and easily maintained filter system you can install. Feeding it from a skimmer, intake bay, negative edge, the latter two look more natural. Also, be sure on the top outer edge of your hole to dig in a shelf 12”x12” at least to hide the upper edge of your liner, obviously making the edge bigger if you are going to use larger boulders, this will also help get rid of the unnatural string of pearls look many end up with around the pond. The idea is to have the rocks above and below the water line around the ponds edge. Many creative ways to go about doing this, using dead wood, have a meandering shoreline behind larger rocks. Also, don’t be afraid to ask a lot of questions there are many creative and experienced minds on here willing to offer help.
