We were in bed watching all the fireworks in Seattle on tv and hearing the bombs all going off outside our window.

They were going on all night right outside our window but right after midnight all was quiet! Yay!

Happy New Year. I didn't do much other than watch some of the new years countdown concert stuff on tv, watched the eastern time zone and then central and went to bed. Not many fireworks around here but I did hear a few in the distance.

Happy New Year! We actually stayed up, watching “White Christmas!” The 5 cats were pretty much…..nowhere to be found due to the fireworks. There weren’t as many fireworks this year, which means the neighbors will still be celebrating for a few more days…..

We tried to stay up - disappointed the grandkids when the “old folks” headed to bed at 10:30! But it was a great way to see the old year out - leave when we aren’t even looking! Woke up to 2025! Looking forward to another great year!

It’s the realization that you COULD stay up late if you wanted to but it’s only going to ruin the next day - that’s the wisdom of age!
