I am a long time ponder and a (possibly former?) member of the Pikes Peak Water Garden Society in Colorado Springs where I used to live. For the past six years we have made our home in the Oklahoma panhandle.

We brought our liners with us from Colorado but so far we have only have the holding pond.

Ran into the 10 minute limit so I could not edit my previous post.

The holding pond is unfiltered but there is little algae in the water and no string algae growth to speak of. This is because most every plant has roots outside the pot. The opaqueness is due to the blubber churning up the crud on the bottom. The Lilies are getting their nutrients from the pond muck.

A video pond tour.

We brought our liners with us from Colorado but so far we have only have the holding pond.

I need to dig more ponds and divide the plants. I am looking for inspiration and motivation. I love to pinch a penny and love DIY.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

Prior to our move we sold plants on weekends with no more then a sandwich board setup a major street 1 block from the house. We really have too many for a private collection and no outlet for them here. Thinking about the options.
