Hi

I have attached a picture below. My pond was initially going to be a landscape project with a small water feature and I ended up with a 2,500 gallon two tier, 3 small falls Koi pond and a hobby I had to learn about quickly. I am enjoying it.

I have too many comet goldfish which I'll try and thin out this coming spring and 3 large Koi that I'm amazed have lasted this long...now I'm attached to them. I had one frog which we observed infrequently but he got caught up in my pump and sadly he became lawn fertilizer

It is 3 years old and all winterized for another upcoming Boston Area winter.

Thanks everyone.

I have a dual discharge pondmaster by Little Giant. It was placed in two plant baskets...one on top of the other (one upside down) held together with zip ties with holes cut in the sides. The frog seemed to have had his web caught in the impeller. Have seen some fish in there too.

I need to get two new 12" baskets and cut smaller holes.

Welcome. Sorry about the frog. I found a frog one day struggling. Thought it was caught up in the rocks. Moved the rock and found a snake holding on to its foot. UCK. All three of ran in different directions. haha. Saved the frog but now approach the pond rocks a bit more careful. haha
