Hello, one my Goldfish out of nowhere just stopped swimming and just resting at the bottom. I noticed that she can't used her back fins and her beautiful long tail looking very thin and floppy. She has been like this for a week now, not finding, and it's look bloated.
Can someone please have any ideas to what's wrong?

Sorry your beautiful fish isn't feeling good .
I'm no expert in fish disease, but she looks a little bloated, could be internal parasites maybe?
Lets hope someone on here can help you.

Hello and welcome.

I was thinking she looks a little bloated, as well. Has there been recent spawning activity? That can really take a toll on a female fish.

It would be helpful if you could give us some information:
  • How big is your pond?
  • how many fish do you have?
  • when did you last add any new fish?
  • what kind of filtration do you have?
  • what are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, pH, and KH)?
  • what is your water temperature?
  • are any other fish acting off?
  • is there any chance chemicals (like lawn run-off) could have gotten into the water?

They were spawning like crazy recently, chasing each others, stopped now.
It's outdoor garden pond about 250L, with 5 in 1 filter; 4 . And only this one like this. No chemicals anywhere!

Maybe just let the fish rest and see how it does. Not much else you can do w/o knowing the situation for sure.
