Goldfish ID

My wife and I rescued this Goldfish from our local fish store. He was in a tank way too small for him. Anyone know what kind of Goldfish he may be?

He looks like a big goldfish to me... haha! Maybe a comet? I have a few white goldfish in my pond that were born there and I always assumed they were comets so that's my guess. One of my first big comets spent a couple of years turning from deep orange to white and back again. He seems to have settled on white for now!

Yup. By funny coincidence, I just watched a YouTube video last night by Jenny from Solid Gold Aquatics where she talks about Watonai and how they're bred. Looks a lot like the fish in her video. Link:

I will try, that fish is shy. Doesnt come up when we are around anymore.
