I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I don't know where else to go! I have had a pet comet goldfish for a little over 10 years. I got her when I was a mere high school student, but now I'm fully grown and moved out of my parents' house (and am living several states away). My fish is still at my parents' house, however, and now that they're planning on moving, they don't know what to do with her. Is there anyone here who would be interested in taking in this goldfish? It seems like most people here have koi ponds and not goldfish ponds, but it is my understanding that they can live in a pond together with enough room. The fish is about 8 inches long, and is pale orange in color. I can send photos to anyone who is interested. My parents live in Northern New Jersey, so anyone in that area willing to take in a fish would be perfect!

You can try posting on craigslist to find the fish a home. I have been able to rehome my extra fish using it.

Ah... I wouldn't say we have more koi than goldfish ponds here. We're pretty much equal opportunity fish lovers!

Good luck finding a new home for your fish! Someone is bound to be willing to help out!

Lisak1 you are very witty. I get a kick out of many of your replies (along with a lot of good advice)
