do you test for GH ? mine always reads 10 ... is this too high ? i live in a hard water area ... and can anyone tell me what harm it does to fish if it goes too high ... thanks all

Koi and Goldies like "moderately hard" water. Anything over 8 should be fine. Also... hardness helps buffer PH!

In 41 years of ponding I have never tested for GH. Have I lost fish due to quality of the water? Never...
