Hello I am from Uruguay, and moving for first time to make a pond. Or think to make a pond, to be more precise. Still think that maybe the fish tank inside home may be easier.
I have been looking for liners, over the web, I would like a white liner, does anybody know if they exist? I would like to put carps in the pond.
My best regards to everyone and even late, happy newyear 2014.

welcome and you can get billboard sign to use as liners for ponds. They are cheaper and still not sure how long they last .But no matter what color liner you get it will soon be covered in good muck and you won't be able to tell what color it is .

Thanks a lot for your kind replies!, and for your time, I am still looking around and toying with the idea, trying to imagine my transition from fish tank to pond in the garden.
My partner saw this company: http://www.crystal-lagoons.com/portal/esp/index.html, and got the idea that a pond with fish can be as clean as this, which somehow I found difficult to achieve, even if I only got fishtank experience, so to speak. Not to talk about cost.
But coming to the real world I found two sites where I could get white liners:
http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/white-pond-liner.html

And also found this people who sell liquied liners:
http://www.amazonsystems.com/details.asp
http://www.amazonsystems.com/liners.asp
Does anybody have any experience with this liquid stuff.
I also found this link http://www.victoria-adventure.org/water_gardening_images/joel/liners.html, which seems to set the point that most liners are efectibly black.
Maybe Sissy is right and there would be no way to avoid microorganism to grow on the liner, so at the end the colour would not matter.

liners are typically black as the carbon content increases the UV resistance when exposed to sunlight.

White plastic tends to disintegrate in weeks, months...
