Frogs

Hi, I have a very deep header-tank which I sunk into the garden, bricks and broken slabs in and plants. With in a couple of years I had frogs and a newt well I think there's only one. It is now very well a part of the garden after 15 years with an abundance of frogs, a couple of years ago I was given a pond with all the bits which I placed near the header-tank. So now I have moving water and a still water which gives the frogs a bit of a variation.

Now the frogs are coming into the kitchen, I've always had the back door open during the warmer weather but never have the frogs come in until the past couple of week. Don't get me wrong I don't mind it's just that its never happened before is there a reason for this change?

Most likely they are looking for food.
Our pond is in our courtyard outside our sliding backdoor. At night the frogs roam around the courtyard looking for food and often they hang around on the edge of the sliding backdoor because insects are attracted to the lights inside and fly against the door and end up falling to the ground where the frogs are waiting for them. Several times we have found frogs in the house after we've accidentally left this door open. On one unfortunate occasion I opened the sliding door without checking and a frog got his leg caught in the sliding door. We try to be more careful about checking now before we open the door at night.
