Frogs Appeared

I have a 2000 gallon pond that I built this Spring. I live out in the middle of dairy land (surrounded by farm fields and on a hill). Out of nowhere, 2 huge bullfrogs just show up in my pond overnight. Any theories on where they came from?!!

haha! I watched a documentary on raccoons in urban and suburban areas - it was amazing how many wild animals live within a few feet of homes and businesses and people have no clue they are there.

Racoons, coyotes, deer I get. But it's amazing how bullfrogs have a knack for finding water. The nearest water source is miles away. Crazy... Does anybody get painted turtles that just show up in their pond?

I haven't had any turtles show up at my pond but I have picked up several painted and snapping turtles in the middle of town over the years. No where near any water.

Yep, have had painted turtles show up at my ponds in the past.
