It turns out that the frogs think my new floating plant ring makes a great nursery. When I went out yesterday, it was full of frog eggs. I can't wait to see if any of them survive the koi.

Well, if you don't want baby frogs ( and maybe you do!), you could flip the net and place the plants on the other side. It would surely be survival of the fittest.

We live in the sticks so baby frogs do not bother me. We have a few huge bullfrogs now that "sing" us to sleep at night :) Most of them probably won't make it anyway but I thought it was cool that the frogs figured out so quickly it was a safe place to lay their eggs.

I had some koi eggs in my floating baskets, but don't think anything has come of them. I used to have about 9 frogs.....but they've hopped off somewhere else.

My lilies are doing well and i'm edited for the new varieties from Addy - so hopefully a frog or two, will find their way back to my lilly pads for some sun:)

Late April and Earlier this month I had at least 2 big bulls that would be visable every day and night. I haven't seen them in about 7/10 days now. I only see 1 smaller fog that stops by. Maybe they're busy.

Great to hear! Mine are just now starting to grow decently. Even have a few buds heading to the surface.
