Frog eggs in a string

There was a frog in my pond that was laying eggs but not like tge normal frog spawn I have had before. This looks like a ling black string does anyone know what that is? I did take photos ill try and post. Thanks

Sounds like toad eggs..they are in a string....

Hello and welcome! Yep, toad eggs for sure. You need to find out what toads you have there and you can start narrowing them down.
