The estate gave us her car, it had damage on every corner and a crease down one side. A 05 Acura RSX with 41k miles. We paid a place down here 1800 and got it fixed. It looks new now. It is a fun car to drive, real responsive.

Finally got back to where the bees are hanging out. They have chewed two nice holes to make their home .

Oohy Gooey sap, don't walk under it or permanent hair spray, lol!
Love all the tropical palms and vegetation down there. I have been a tropics kind of person all my life but will never live there. Don't like sweating!
They sure fixed up that car nice and what a deal you getting it w/the funds owed to you.

Oh I almost forgot about those bees making a home there. Now what do you do? Looks like they are going to be a problem maybe?

The sap feels hard, I actually touched it, but it must be slowly dripping. Really neat looking.

The bees, no clue what we will do, at this time nothing. They are not in the attic, not in the house. So not a bother. I will try to remember to take a shot of the built out area they are living in. Not Africanized. They did not attack me when I was grooming the plants. You sure can smell the honey.

We were impressed with the job they did on the car.

@addy1 Is this one of your properties?
It is Marks parents home ( now ours), we had just fixed it up when we rented it to the older lady whom died in February. We are fixing the damage she and the rats caused.
His parents passed in 2013 we rehabbed it a bit and rented it in 2014 to her.
We had to pull dry wall, cabinets etc and remove to get rid of the rat smell and debris i.e. poo.

The house is cinder block, around 1200 sq, 2 bdrm 2 bath.

Also pulling the bathrooms, cabinets installed in the 70's. And the rats chewed through them.

The worse part is the tile is cut, I tiled all the walls when we rehabbed it, the new cabinets don't quite match up, will need to figure out a nice trim job.

Good thing you like doing that kind of work and that you know how! I would have a continuous headache. Would have to hire it out. I know what good work you guys do so it will look nice when you get done.

Thanks for the good thoughts. We won't be done when we leave. We have a lot of detail trim work to do which is very time consuming. And way better to do when you are not rushing. I need to figure out how to cover the cut tile around the new cabinets. Best way to trim the opening in the kitchen wall, trim under the kitchen cabinets etc etc.

As soon as the kitchen counter tops get here we will be leaving. Right now I may need to cancel two appts in MD. Our nephew says stay as long as we want he is enjoying the house, tv, hot tub, free food, left the house stocked, free electricity.....................
