I need to get some 1" flexible (and kink proof) pond tubing to hook up my UV sterilizer. Is the only safe option the expensive, corrugated flexible PVC? Is there another fish-safe, yet less expensive, alternative? Something I could buy locally rather than order online? I thought about that clear vinyl tubing at Lowe's, but I think it would kink too easily. Irrigation tubing also would kink. Black rubber hose? That's probably NOT fish safe. Any advice appreciated. I just don't want to miss something obvious. Thanks!

I used pool/spa on a pond I am setting up now. Bought it at Mendards. It is also sold at Home Depot.
