Flashing,jumping and gaping for air.

It's been really hot here in West Virginia. I've had this pond for about twenty years. Last few weeks fish are flashing, gasping on top of the water and also jumping. Thinking it's parasites and maybe need to move the water more for oxygen

Have you tested the water? You would need liquid type tests, not strips. Please test for pH, KH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate and post the results here. Then we would have a better idea of the health of your pond.

but in the mean time get a large air stone up and running but keep it in the shallows if the air temp is hot
