Hi we are in process of moving home and want to take all our Koi and other fish with us . We wanted to know if there are any places that will store the fish until a new house is found and a new pond is constructed . Cheshire or North Wales areas.

Hello and welcome!

I am in the USA, but don’t know of any services that board your fish. Here, most people set up a temporary [above ground] pond or pool, where we keep the filtration going (I have an Intex pool in my backyard, about 1200 gallons — for my goldfish and plants). Depending on what kind of fish you have, and how many, keeping the water quality up to par can be a challenge, but so many folks use this method.

Here’s a picture of the one I have, minus the people, of course. It’s been set up for 3 years and I haven’t had any problems with it (just be sure your surface is level).

Yeah look into koi pond clubs or maybe someone who just spent a ton of capital building their pond @GaryMoz who may look to reccop a little. After all I'm sure your willing to compensate to take care of a feed your fish.
