Hi all,
Hope you're enjoying the summer!
Dealing with sticky PVC valves on pond piping. Need a fish-safe lubricant recommendation.
I have read that silicone is perhaps the way to go...
I don't know and need your help as I'm tired of cutting out and replacing frozen valves.
Thank you!

We use Vaseline. Fish safe? No clue but it’s such a small amount I doubt it matters. Plus the part we lubricated doesn’t come in contact with the water anyway.

Yes, I was using plumber's silicone on the threads and other areas that don't come into contact with pond water, but the ball valves perhaps need something "fish safe"?

The ball valve handle does not come in contact with water. If your thinking to lube inside the ball valve. That's totally the wrong thinking.

Instead of silicone I'd look at powder graffite
