okay.. plans are 250 gal bog, 2 55 gal barrel filters dropping into 1100 gal pond...

we currently have 5 koi 6-8 inches that survived the winter in the 250 gal pond form last year... will we be able to have 3 more koi? and hold all 8 into adult hood? figuered we have about 350 gal worth of filtration so the water should be pristine...

thoughts?

thanks

if you over filter and keep the water pristine, you might get away with it.

Most of us have more fish than the pond can really sustain as per the
"rules." But if you can maintain perfect water parameters, you have a shot.

So, you just need to decide if it's worth it.

Just like koikeepr said you got the filtration
if they can turn around in the 1100 gal you are good to go
But i have faith in your pond interest that in a few years you will want to expand
so go for it

I just got done checking our Dr Daves newly visited barrel filler and with lots of plastic fencing and hopefully this will work perfect :) We will see over the next month...
