I have an fiberglass indoor pond that that I recently overhauled with a few water lilies, a water poppy and some dwarf Umbrella plants. It has always been stocked with guppies, and I just ordered some coral red dwarf platies. Before the overhaul I had java moss that totally took over the pond. I'm trying to decide what plants (if any) to add as a fry hide for the fish, that won't take over again. First, do I need to add anything, or will what I already have suffice? If not, what should I add that won't go Frankenstein on me?

Hard to say if what you have is enough I had a planted tank and I had two foot vines of Java moss at one point. Is there a pile of rocks where the big fish can't get to or is the gravel and a few plants. Impossible to say without a picture if your tank looks something like my old tank id say you need not worry plenty of hidi g spots

Thanks for the speedy reply!! I literally took out a 5-gallon bucket of java moss when I cleaned out the pond.

The bottom is black fiberglass--no gravel or any substrate (it shows off the fish!). I have a few large pieces of driftwood that I took out to clean, which I plan to put back as a centerpiece with Anubias plants stuck on them. Perhaps that will do the trick??!!
