Just got some carpet padding and the liner in and omg the liner was way bigger then what the guy said .. we were told it was a 20x25 foot liner it turned out to be more like 25x35 feet and it is a Firestone 45ml liner it is stamped on it got it for $150 what a nice deal .. :) ..
so now we are gonna make it a lil bigger at the shallow end.. .. you can see my son standing in the deep end and with the liner in you kinda get an idea of how big it is and deep it is ..Tomorow hopefully we do the landscaping on it .. :) i cant wait .. ..almost done with this . I cant wait ..

Looks like you have plenty of room to grow, small suggestion, might as well use all of that liner now... otherwise you'll be pulling up all of your border and diggin it bigger next year :) thats the way ot works for everyone, might as well make it as big as you can now.

Small liners to use for waterfalls and streams are cheap.... just keep digging until u use that whole liner, lol. You will see a TON of posts on here about how everybody wishes they would have gone bigger the first time. Might as well make it as big as you can now :)

We swam in ours the first summer it was built, no fish, was fighting a very low ph issue due to our well water. We would go down there and just float! it felt great.

Use all the liner, you, like all said above, will be very happy you did.

OH i know how addicting it can be .. we started off with one 10 gallon fish tank and before we knew it we had about 13 tanks ...lol.. we just have 3 tanks now .. but they are addicting and i know it would be that way with ponds.. changing this .. expanding this.. adding that .. lol.
If it was way warmer today probably would let him go in it .. lol

Yep I had fish tanks for years then I just decided since my DH retired that I would stop after the last fish died but it never died so I gave him away to a friend and no more aquariums for me now just the pond.

Too bad the kid couldn't go in for a swim. Here the rain has started and don't know when it will stop.

I like having fish inside and now out ..and the thing about them is you can go away for a few days and not worry about feeding them .. they can go a few days without food ..
I have a 55 gallon corner bowfront that i have angels and loaches in .. hubby has he regular 55 gallon with a oscar and some tiger barbs.. and then the 30 gallon as a holding tank..
