I decided to extend my pond this year. Only second year of having a pond, but I felt after last year that it was too small. I'm very happy with the extension and no fish were lost during the construction. Here's some pics of before and after:

Very nice, that looks so much like my pond I had at my last house.

Good job! Colorful and lively looking!

it's nice when people recognise the efforts we all go to where our fish and ponds are concerned and you should feel proud and give yourself a pat on the back, it looks stunning,

Thank you all! I thought maybe I went a bit overboard with the plants! The pond it 20 feet by 10 feet and 3 feet deep. I'm not positive about how many gallons it is - I know there's a formula to figure it out, but I have to look it up to see how it's done.

All of your compliments meant a lot to me! It was a lot of hard work - but the joy of standing at my pond and seeing something new going on everyday is more than worth it!
