Don’t see any sign of my lotus coming back yet, is it dead?

Aww they are finally growing and you are tossing, me I would let them do what they do and see what turns out. But in sunny shallow water.

Ok I’ll wait and see but I am starting to lose more and more patience with these fussy plants. I might resort myself to the easier care nymphoides peltata.

I tossed in some tubers free running is a 300 gallon tank, don't feed them don't do much of anything and they bloom great for me every year. Only really fussy when small. Ie a growing seed.

I try to grow most of my plants in my garden from seed or cuttings so if I can grow something from seed I will go for that route. It gives you much more appreciation in the long run

Many moons ago when I decided to get some lotus a good pond friend gave me the tubers. Guess I don't fit the grow from seed.
Except for every flower in the yard is from seeds (except day lilies, they were from friends who had to many)
