doing/building a lazy river flow into pond

I was wondering if there was and or best way to build like a lazy river flow into a pond. If so what would be the best way to do it? I was thinking of having a little water fall into the opening of the river and have the flow into the pond. Where the river meets the pond have a little dig out deep enough for it to cascade into the pond.

Any ideas would be help if its even possible. Thanks.

look up the design of a shishi odoshi, that would send a trickle of water pulses over a weir in as lazy a flow as you like

Check out you tube as they really have some great video's on there .It is easy to do but remember the longer it is the bigger the pump to get the sound you want .You can check here also there are several on here that have streams into their ponds

My showcase shows my stream, maybe a bit wide then your looking for. I also did a bubbling rock that dumps back into the pond. You could do something like that then have the extra water pool a bit then flow back into the pond.
