So since im new I have some questions, but I dont know if it would have been easier to post different threads or keep all questions in one, sorry if i did anything wrong.

So I know ive asked some of these questions on my other thread but im not sure if i got a proper answers kinda threw me off, so im gonna try and numbering them hopefully its easier ;)

1. One crazy question me and my family always had is, what do with my pond in winter? We wont be having any fish (its just going to be a water feature) so its gonna be 3 feet deep or maybe four we haven't decided yet, It gets over -20c here where I live, we might add plants if im going to add shelf in 2 feet deep but im not sure so what do I do with it? its gonna be 2 meters by 3 meters. Thanks :)

2. Will these bricks work great for my pond? (I know I asked this :D but I just wanted to make make sure) Because i cant find any slate rocks anywhere where I live  , https://kent.ca/8-x-4-stackstone-coping-garden-wall-stone1021072 heres the link and now Im kinda thinking they are kinda slanted and my pond/fountain will be a square type so Im not sure lol But still is it possible?

3. If the bricks dont work where would I find slate rocks or good rocks for a pond? I live closer to the Atlantic part of Canada and there lots of good rocks at the beaches but im not sure if thats legal lol.

Thanks! :) (ill post more questions in a different thread if I remember them lol)

Probably easier to have one thread for your pond start, as details on other parts many be important to an answer. I'm having trouble visualizing your project. Is it above or underground? Can you draw some diagrams of you plans or post pictures of ideas you've seen on the web?

Try looking at garden stores or building supply stores (not the Home Depot type) for rocks. Also if you have a Craigslist in your area post an ad looking for rocks.
