Curious about this tosai's color

Hi all. As you can see from my previous posts, I had a flock spawn last year and I'm working on catching and giving the babies away right now. Among the obvious pond-grade tosai, there are some really nice ones that I'm planning on keeping.

I'm curious about this white one with the slight pinkish color. I have several that have this same base color with orange markings, which I assume are going to turn into red kohaku-type patterns. I also have a few fish that are pure white without the pinkish glow under their skin. I assume those will stay white (or sumi will pop up later on).

Any idea what this guy will look like when he grows up? Searching the internet hasn't helped me, but I thought experienced owners here could!

More than half the koi strains out there can change color patterns throughout their lives. More than once have I spent good money on a fish for it to loose it's pattern over the years. Like two now, one a sanke is loosing his large orange spots and is all white. The other a snake that's looking More showa now. You never know,

That's crazy. I know colors can deepen with age and black can fluctuate based on water temps, but I didn't know orange/red could disappear. Learn something new every day!

Black orange, tangerine, yellow, black , white no color is exempt from possible changes but fish like chagoi , can start off with color and pattern that will only mature and no changes. Platinum butterfly, goshiki may be others
