I was out by the pond today and noticed while all my other fish are cautious when I am around, my little shubunkin just causally swims about. Sometimes with the school but most of the time by itself. It's not isolated per se, just swimming aimlessly and slowly. She never darts around like the other fish but always glides along but never seems to bump into anything.

As a test, I placed a net right in front of her and she swam right in. I gently let her back in and placed my hand as she approached me again and again she swam right to my fingertips and then kissed it again.

Her eyes look ok, no cataracts or any visable damaged.

How would a blind or visually impaired fish behave? Thoughts?

I think you both may be right. This morning as I fed them, she was swimming towards me as I approached the pond and stopped swimming. As soon as I tossed a few pellets, she went straight for the food, so I think its just personality!
