what about making some of the floater rings? then your fish won't run into the sharp edges or will you have to worry about chemicals leaching into the water from the block?

Joe3zz,

I have used both bricks and cinder blocks in my pond, and experienced no problems with the fish. I have also tried the floating rings of green styro(sp) foam to float a basket, and the floating basket worked fine except it would move around the pond.

Happy ponding,

Golly..............., I haven't heard that song in a long time. How about, 'turn my walabee loose, Bruce'.
I think that's why I like the shelves in my pond.

Happy ponding,
