Cheap and easy feeding ring

I just took a plastic lid and cut a hole in the center. I left about 1/2" on the edges so that it would float. It is anchored to rocks with fishing string.

LOL. Dad buys all the ice-cream, not that I complain about it, though. I used it cause it's bigger than all the other ones.

I also want to mention that I now use it with the rim lip facing up, as it kept sinking the other way.

I'd be a little concerned about the fish gashing themselves on the sharp edges , is there anyway hat you can file it down or something?

A nail file would probably work to file it down, but it really isn't very sharp at all and forms a blunt edge.

I haven't had any problems yet. I also remove it when they are done eating.
