I agree, kohaku mutt of some kind.
The red on the top of the head, did it go away or is it coming out? Usually, it's the forme and not the latter. Red is always the most interesting to me because of this facet. Tho lordy it does suck to buy a fish for that red spot, and then watch it disappear in a season. Argh!
