Hi.

I'm looking at a new pond project, a 7x10 pond with dual waterfalls on two corners. About half around 3 feet deep and the other half around 4 feet deep.

Question, do I need two pumps or can I use one? I'm worried about flow between the two falls if I use one pump.

And what size of pump and brand should I be looking for?

Thanks very much!

You should design your pond so we can critique it. To many variables to say what size pump

PUMP - well you could use one pump or two your choice cause there are many different size pumps so you could get two small or one big
BRAND- i have a magnum pool pump that pumps 8000gph which is good for the size of my pond, however they can be expensive so..... it all depends how much you want to spend. we spent about 3000$ on rock 2000$ on pump. over 3500$ on fish and plants. We buy new plants each year. so what im getting to is that ponds can and will be very expensive so choose wisely and take your time while planning your pond. plus feel free to ask more questions on the site or PM me for anything else
