We're digging out the layers of the deep end. As in the rest of the yard, we came across beetle grubs. But now we're further down than I usually dig, and overnight all these tunnels appeared. Are they from grubs? earthworms? anything to be concerned about?
I purchased a bunch of carpet and carpet liner at the local charity shop yesterday. So by the time this is done, I'm not too worried about bugs of any kind damaging the liner -- they'll have too much to go thru to get to it, is my guess. Here's a picture of the holes. And one of the robin who carefully watched us throw grubs to the side, and came down to retrieve every one
