Seen this at the base of elephant ear plant in the bog. What is this, eggs?

LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE HAIR ALGAE AND SOME POND SCUM AND A FEW BUBBLES

I would guess the bubbles are coming from the algae that looks like it is decomposing. Pull out the algae and see if that solves the problem.

It's not a problem no it's unsightly to us but ducks will attack that first frogs will hang out on it. It's just nature . Now if it becomes overbearing in the pond then it's telling you something is missing or needs attention

Huh, the foam is shrinking. I guess I'll let it be.

Bring it on, frogs! How do I attract them by the way? I used to have tons of tadpoles in the pond, backswimmers, salamanders, water striders... now only goldfish.
