It's only the best ice cream ever, IMHO! Believe me that my friends and relatives have been in mourning in the months since it was taken off the shelves [due to a listeria outbreak at several processing plants]. We've tried just about every brand & off-brand that our local stores have carried -- but miss our Blue Bell!

I was in Target yesterday and noticed a large area in the "ice cream" section that looked as if they were making room.....I wondered and took this picture to post on Face Book.

Then came home to find the headlines to confirm my suspicions! Yeah!

OK, I'll rephrase that to be the best store-bought ice cream......

We found the best icecream here, a farm store. They make their own with milk from their cows. Creamy, rich, wonderful. Mix their flavors.

My husband and I love Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey . Best ice cream ever.

Banana ice cream with dark chocolate chunks and walnuts. Yummy!

Yum! When I was in Michigan last week...... MSU makes their own ice cream. Really, really good stuff! They even had a green tea flavor, but I didn't try it [traditional flavors for me]. Oh, and they had this flavor as well -- another one I chose NOT to try [for obvious reasons, LOL!]. Apparently MSU has a flavor named after the mascot for each of their rivals!
