Hi all,
Been away for a couple of days and whilst away we’ve had three power cuts. Came home and my pump has stopped working. The power to the unit is fine and working.
I thought about a possible blown fuse but I’ve googled it and I can’t see that a fuse can be replaced on a Blagdon pump.
Does anyone know? I’m assuming I need to buy a new pump unit but could do without the cost of course.
Any ideas or pointers most gratefully received.
Paul

I have some old Supreme pumps that will not restart at times after power outage. They have always started again after knocking them on a rock at the side of the pond. Could be worn impeller or a bit of crud that lodged in there, so that is what I would check. Worse option is that a power surge killed it or it tried to restart while jammed and burned up, if a mag drive. Usually the impeller chamber will be warped in this case.
