Black koi

Hi guys. I have a koi pond in my backyard. I have a black koi. This koi has what looks like whitish lip liner and the fins are whitish
Any idea if it will stay like that or will those features also turn black? I love the way it looks now. It's about six inches in size.

I have several that are all black with white tips on fins and tail. They have held that pattern.

That is great to hear. Thank you mrsclem. Would you happen to have any pictures. I have tried to take a few of my black koi but everytime I get near it takes off.

Looks like some do keep the white even as they get large. Maybe yours will too. This one I found online.

Don't happen to have any pictures of mine but the one j.w. posted is similar. I have a couple that are also longfin ones

Thank you for that. Mine is full black and the entire fins are that colour white. I'm very hopeful. Thank you for the info.
