Hi, I have this big boulder but I don't want to drill into it, to make it look like a waterfall. Is there any way I can make it look like its bubbling from the top without drilling in it?

It will also sit in a concrete tublike fountain with a spillway in the middle and a few boulders on the bottom.

Boulder is like 3 feet high and 3 feet wide.

Welcome to the forum.

How about water running down what looks like a split, Crack on the face of it.

I would go the simple route and take a lesson from the Japanese use some bamboo to bring it up to the top of the rock then make a slit or a wedge to cut into it to make the water fall as you like

If it were possible, I'd set it on the "flat" edge and use the bamboo idea to disperse water on the top and let it flow down and over the face. Beautiful rock btw :)

Thank you! Yes, that is my idea as well. Lay it on its flat side and have something drizzle over the top. Thank you for your suggestion. I will be looking into that! I certainly appreciate it, as I have been searching all over online for something similar and I just cant seem to be successful. So helpful with your diagram! Thank you again

Thank you so much. It's a grade 4 Wyoming jade boulder, so they said, I appreciate your input. Looks beautiful when its wet.

Thank you very much. I will be looking into your suggestion. I have not a clue what that is, but I am researching to find the best idea, without drilling into it. It's a wyoming jade grade 4 boulder, so that is why I don't want to drill into it.
