Beware Maryland ponders!

Gators are taking over Maryland koi ponds! I'm wondering where this came from and aside from eating one koi, how much damage the gator did to the pond. Makes me glad mine are raised ponds for the most part!

Yep gators can climb .My Aunt Jo lives in Florida and before her hubby passed away they woke up to a lot of noise .Well the gator got in there screened in room and got in there raised spa tub and it was even up on a platform .I even remember her comment from that day caption was SPA DAY ALL GATORS INVITED .I remember her posting pics of it a couple of years ago .Insurance company had to pay up .

There was an alligator on the loose here a couple years back. It escaped a small zoo, found the river, and disappeared for months. If I remember correctly, it escaped in late Summer or early Fall and wasn't found until the next Spring. I have no idea how it survived winter.

Saw a short video about a month ago of a gator going over a 4' chain link fence. No problem at all!

Oh my. I thought this was going to be a cute photo of a fake gator designed to float in the pond to prevent plunder!

I think I would die if I saw that!!!!
