Battery in pond

I have knocked a solar light in the pond haven’t managed to retrieve it , does anyone know if the battery will damage my fish

I would say so as silver and other minerals are in there. Why haven't you retrieved it yet ?

I have tried but it is small, and I cannot see it ,I have tried with the net but am just creating murky water.
If it has any metal on it you could try a long handled magnetic grabber. Other than that you will have to just keep trying w/a net.
