Back from Florida

Well I was away for a couple weeks in Florida. Back home now and boy do we have some snow with very cold temps. Anyway here is a video of Burrowing Owls that I seen done there

There used to be some in a field near my house in arizona, loved watching for them. Then they built auto dealers there...........darn them

Really great stuff! Coincidentally, I've been seeing these owls in a lot of videos lately. There was recently a GoPro video on youtube featuring them, and a few days later I was watching an old episode of The Crocodile Hunter and he was talking about them.

Funny watching them. The one probably the male standing w/ that patch of moss just looking around doing his guard job. Then all of a sudden out of the blue the female ( now I don't know for sure just guessing) rushes out and grabs the moss from him and runs off w/it to the nest to build it herself. Just kind of humorous watching them. Kind of like a woman fixing her house up the way she wants it and the male is just there to watch and behave himself and stay out of the way,lol!
