Here in Mobile we have Bellingrath Gardens and Home.
My family and I went there last Friday, and the azeleas were looking quite nice, indeed.

One more thing, if you plan on going there be sure to take plenty of bug spray, the no-seeums are swarming like locusts over there!

Quite lovely and thanks for sharing them all! We have some here but pretty far away. Have some nice grounds up at the Peace Arch park that separates the U.S from Canada. I'll post some pix here in your thread later that I took when on a bicycle ride up there. Have to look for them and get out for a walk before the rains swoop down again.

Mogsie love all those old beautiful buildings too and would be neat to be able to tour through them all!

I think I'd want to go through the ones that weren't shops and that were really still all filled w/ the ancient relics of the past and discover vampires and werewolves and George's mom's ghost, lol! And if it were late at night and dark w/ only candle's to lead the way that would be the best!

My parents had a cabin in Franklin NC about 45 minutes from Ashville and I would go down there quite a bit. I would like to move there sometime or greenville SC is another pretty area.

How do you guys deal w/the heat/humidity back there? Do you just get used to it or hide a lot indoors? It's humid here some too but w/o the heat so it doesn't bother us much.
