New to forum. I bought a pond filter Aquascape 3500 bio filter about 3 years ago and every year the ballast burns out. The company has replaced it twice because they a bad batch of ballast. This year same thing. I store it in the winter properly but it keeps happening. Does anyone else have the same problem? or are they just not worth it

I can’t speak for this brand of filter but I can say I’ve never read a consistently good review about any brand of pressurized filter. They all seem to fail. We were considering adding one to our system a few years back and spent some time researching various brands. None were really recommended.
Generally speaking Aquascape makes good products - I think this is just a filter that is fraught with issues generally speaking.
