It was (& still is) in the pond. Attached to the pond thermometer. It's 40mm long.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't there yesterday.
Snail eggs perhaps?

Heh heh. You make it sound ALMOST edible. Hopefully the Goldies can keep the numbers under control. I'm finding more and more snails as the weeks pass.

It's OK if your not used to living in the fast lane.... Otherwise it sure puts a damper on your lifestyle!

Your co-workers won't appreciate you any longer either. You leave that mucous trail on all the chairs in the cafeteria and on the computer keyboards, too!
