I had goldfish lay eggs in the roots of a water hyacinth. For kicks, I brought it inside and now have about one billion fry. Along with that I have about five of these. Any idea what they are? Wondering if I should try to raise them inside too. Or throw in the pond. Or dispose of.... It does not swim like fish. It squiggles its body around kind of like how a snake squiggles but it does so much faster. Thanks in advance!

I think i had the same thing. I have been watching my supposedly frog "tadpoles" I had in a bucket and thought these things might be tiny tadpoles but evidently I was watching mosquito larvae too. That explains why the "tadpoles" kept disappearing! I did bring inside one tiny goldfish fry tonight and I am going to see how it does before releasing it into the pond.
