I have rescued a ton of tadpoles throughout the season with no idea what kind they were. I never saw any eggs -- they were already hatched when I would see them. I know that we have Southern Spotted Leopard frogs, Fowler's toads, Copes Gray Tree frogs that have been seen [and heard] in the yard, but who knows what else.....
Anyway, these little guys started showing up about 1-2 weeks ago. They are hanging out around the kiddie pool where I have all my pond marginals temporarily "stored." They're about the size of my pinkie fingernail. Cute as a button! I'm thinking they are baby Copes Gray Tree frogs [there is a green variant], but my son thinks they're Green Tree frogs.
